Get Natural Treatment for Acidity

What is acidity?
The stomach normally secretes acid that is essential in the digestive process. This acid helps break down food during digestion. When there is excess production of acid by the gastric glands in the stomach, resulting in a condition known as acidity. Dyspepsia, heartburn and ulcer formation are some of the symptoms. It is more common in patients with highly emotional and nervous.

Natural treatment of acid
Apple cider vinegar. Do not you feel it would work, but it works better than anything else. Acid in many acidic substances outside the body actually becomes alkaline when ingested. It balances the acid in the stomach so that you do not have to produce too much stomach acid to digest food.

Make a fine powder of ginger powder, black pepper, dried mint leaves, asafetida (hing), anise seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel and common salt taken equally. Take a teaspoon of this powder with water, twice daily after meals.

Include green vegetables and sprouts in your diet. They contain vitamins B and E which aid digestion and also facilitate the removal of acids from the body. Raita prepared with cucumber and salads are a proven and reliable support digestive system.

Maintain an upright posture for some time after meals helps to prevent a reaction.

1-2 tsp myroblan Chebulic juice taken daily is highly beneficial in the treatment of acidity and heartburn. For best results, the juice can be mixed with an equal amount of amla juice.

Pour one cup of boiling water on a piece of ginger, ground cloves and cinnamon c. Tea. Strain the sweetened with honey and have sip by sip. This helps when there is mucus in the cough.

Another good option is the use of Jaggery (Gudh) after meals. About 5 to 10 grams of a Jaggery piece taken after meals helps to eliminate acidity, improves digestion and also contributes to the expulsion of worms in small children.

Avoid foods like chocolate, juices tomoto, mint, food or drinks that contain caffeine, fried or greasy foods, soft drinks, as they can aggravate heartburn.

Take a powder of cardamom and cloves y. Eat like a mouth freshener after every meal. Not only this remedy will take care of the problem of acidity, but stay away from bad breath.

Boil a cup of water. Then, add 1 teaspoon anise seeds (saunf). Cover and leave overnight. Drain the water in the morning, add 1 teaspoon of honey. When this is taken 3 times a day it prevents acidity.

Squeeze the juice of a whole orange and mix it with roasted cumin seeds. Add some salt to taste. This will give immediate relief of heartburn.
