Food is Medicine For the Diabetic

Glucose metabolism is a good example of a complex chemical reaction between the chemicals increases in the food and the chemicals in our bodies. Dysfunction can occur at any point in the metabolism of glucose. If the chemicals in the membranes of our cells not to insulin, helping to address properly the chemical in our body, our cells to accept glucose from food, we develop what we call diabetes. Therefore, not all nutrients from food into our cells properly and we have a rise in blood sugar levels as a symptom, but it is not properly supported by our cells.

We treat food as a source of entertainment and joy to give our taste buds with our favorite foods. Through this process, we sometimes forget that the food is really nothing more than organic chemicals. When we eat, the food chemically interacts with our bodies, both at the cellular and molecular level. Therefore, food is medicine, or at least has the potential if we eat the right foods.

Let’s cook our food choices on the key underlying. Foods are organic chemicals together. Our bodies are organic chemicals. Connect on chemicals, they react with each other. With chemicals from the food in combination with chemicals in our body, they react like any other chemicals would.
